rizzler automates your dating apps, which means we handle sensitive personal data — including messages, matches, and in some cases the credentials to your dating-app accounts. this page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the controls you have.

01 scope
this privacy policy (“policy”) applies to rizzler (“rizzler”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and to the rizzler.io website, our waitlist, and any applications, features, and services we make available (collectively, the “service”). it does not apply to third-party services, including the dating platforms you may connect to rizzler — those services have their own privacy policies, and you should read them.
by using the service, you agree to the practices described in this policy and to our terms of service.
02 what we collect
we collect three buckets of data:
- account info you give us — email, optionally phone, your referral code, the dating apps you choose to connect.
- content from connected apps — messages, matches, profile data we need to read in order to draft responses on your behalf. we treat this as the most sensitive bucket.
- usage data — anonymized signals about how you use the service: feature taps, time spent, error logs. we use this to fix bugs and prioritize what to build.
03 how we use it
we use the data we collect to:
- provide the autopilot — read your matches, draft openers and replies, schedule actions.
- personalize what rizzler sends — your “type”, your tone, your typical response patterns.
- improve the service — fix bugs, ship features, prevent abuse.
- communicate with you — launch updates, security alerts, service emails. you can opt out of marketing emails any time.
04ai & training
we do not train our public ai models on your private chats. your conversations are used only to personalize your autopilot, not to make the system smarter for everyone else.
autopilot uses a combination of foundation models (run via privacy-vetted ai providers) and a personal style model that lives in your account. inputs to foundation models are sent without your name attached and not retained by the provider beyond the request.
if we ever want to use anonymized chat content to improve general models, we'll ask first, in plain language, and let you opt in.
05sharing & processors
we don't sell your data. ever. we share it only with vendors who help us run the service:
- cloud hosting — to store and process your data securely.
- ai providers — to draft messages on your behalf. inputs are de-identified and not retained for training.
- analytics & error tracking — anonymized event streams.
- payments — stripe / apple / google handle billing; we never see your full card number.
we may also disclose information if compelled by valid legal process, to prevent fraud or imminent harm, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice to you).
06 retention
- chat content: on-device first, encrypted at rest, deleted after 90 days unless you opt in to long-term memory.
- account data: kept while your account is active. deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except where law requires us to retain it longer.
- logs & backups: rolling 90-day window.
07 security
encryption in transit (tls 1.3) and at rest (aes-256). access to production data is restricted, logged, and audited. we run regular security reviews and have a vulnerability disclosure program at security@rizzler.io.
no system is perfectly secure. if there's ever a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours of confirming it.
08 your rights
depending on where you live, you have rights over your data. we honor these regardless of jurisdiction:
to exercise any of these, email privacy@rizzler.io. we respond within 30 days.
09 kids
rizzler is for adults only. we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. if you believe a minor has signed up, tell us immediately and we'll remove the account and the data.
10 international transfers
we operate from the united states. if you're outside the us, your data will be transferred to and processed there. we use standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards to protect transfers from the eu, uk, and other regions with cross-border restrictions.
11 changes
we'll update this policy as the product evolves. material changes get an email at least 14 days before they take effect. the “effective” date at the top always reflects the current version.
